She was a member of Desk and Derrick and the Tri-County Bowling League.In 1969, Jean moved to Midwest City where she resided until her death.Her three sisters preceded her in death: Alma Taylor and Juanita Cash, of Shawnee and Geneva Martin of Ft Worth, Texas.

Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident Bettie Mae (Stephenson) Adams are scheduled for 2 p.m. Adams, 77, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Unity North Health Center in Shawnee.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
She was born April 6, 1931 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Stanley and Ruth (Thayer) Stephenson.
She was a registered nurse, where she worked at the old Seminole Hospital, Pioneer Nursing Home and Seminole Estates Nursing Home. Surviving are three children: Ruth Peralsky of San Pablo, Calif., Jannice Factor of Seminole, and William Ruloph of Shawnee; stepchildren: Steve Martin of Kathleen, Ga., Belva Humphrey of Ft.

Jean was born March 1, 1923 in Shawnee to William Alexander Adams and Grace Sanders Adams, both deceased, and was the youngest of four daughters.
She lived in Shawnee when she began her career with Schlumberger as an accounting manager.
