More members of the Affleck family are headed for divorce court.Casey Affleck and his wife of nearly a decade, fellow actress Summer Phoenix, confirmed their separation to gossip site Just Jared Wednesday.
"They remain very close friends." Affleck, 40, met Phoenix in 1995 after co-starring with her older brother, Joaquin Phoenix, in the crime comedy film "To Die For." The two stars began dating in 2000 and, after getting engaged in 2003 and having their son Indiana together the following year, exchanged vows in 2006.
Phoenix gave birth to their second son, Atticus, in 2008. News, comes nine months after the actor's older brother Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced they planned to divorce, shortly after they celebrated their 10-year anniversary.
Soon after their June separation, reports began to surface that the "Batman v Superman" star cheated on Garner with their 28-year-old family nanny, Christine Ouzounian.
Despite the split, Affleck still lives with Garner to put on a united front for their three kids, and they are often photographed in public together as a family.
